  •  Trust the President. Not only would he never (31+ / 0-)

abuse the unlimited collection of everyones phone records, he's completely capable of making sure no one else will abuse it.

And Bad Guys.  You know, Bad Guys.  Let me say Bad Guys again.

    Because we're all six.

Our Government locks men in cages and has them isolated, raped, beaten, and terrorized for decades because they have grown medicine. Only a complete fucking idiot would not fear it.

      I agree with you.

It is interesting that we need to give up so much (all?) privacy to fight these bad guys, all because of, what? Terrorism!!!

Not minimizing 9/11 but fewer people died that day than in the war "to make us safe." Not saying it wasn't bad, the guys that did were definitely bad guys.

It's ironic that I am now watching a show about the spies in the cold war. Now, the Soviets? Those were some bad bad bad guys, not because they were more evil, but because they could nuke two thirds of our population off the map. That's bad.

But not bad enough that every freedom of the time needed re-evaluation.

      Puts some things in perspective.

Blessed are the peacemakers, the poor, the meek and the sick: The "party of Jesus" wouldn't invite him to their convention - fearing his "platform."

influenced by the fact that all his emails and phone calls are being collected too. As well as all the stuff he does on that nice Blackberry of his.

Defending the theft of our freedom by the government is not a legitimate difference of opinion on a political matter -- it is a deeply un-American attitude that deserves nothing but scorn and derision.--Dallasdoc
