    is that it often shows ignorance of the difference between Hindi, Sikh and Muslim.  To these people, they're all the same.
    My wife's teabagger nephew objected to her and my daughter in law wearing bindies (jewel in middle of the forehead) to a wedding.  They like to try different types of jewelry.  He hates Muslims and did not want them to attend a family wedding if they were going to wear bindies.  I said to him that if he was going to display such open prejudice, he should get the right people, that Hindis were not Muslims.  He just gave me a blank stare and I realized that what I had said did not compute in his pea brain.  Similarly, the shooter at the Sikh Temple last year thought he was shooting Muslims.
    Prejudice and bigotry is bad enough.  It's worse when your confused as to whom you're prejudiced against.
