    outlets to assure us that what the government is doing is OK.  Most outlets don't even bother to present the other side of the story.  The consensus is being manufactured, to coin a phrase, right in front of you.  This non-debate will last as long as it takes for the next big story to hit the media and then this will be forgotten and the job is done.  The government can do what it wants to US citizens and to foreigners, who apparently have no rights whatsoever.
