Seems clear enough to me that Republicans don't mind the state of affairs at all ... in fact, they think this is the way it ought to be (something about natural law or some such nonsense).  But, there are many (read it please as not all and no one being blamed in particular) Democrats who support neo-liberal policies that are equally destructive.
The bad ideas just keep rolling in from the D side.  Okay I'll be specific.  Take Governor Cuomo idea of a "tax free" zone.  Sounds nice on the surface but it's the same old re-processed right wing junk.  We all know what happens when taxes are not collected - schools close, public services are cut, public workers are laid off.  So why do Democrats recycle bad Republican ideas?  Both parties have contributed to the lop sided nature of our economy.

    •  I wrote to Cuomo telling him it was awful. (0+ / 0-)

I don't live in NY, so I doubt he will listen to me, but it was worth a try.  Besides, I was so ticked off I needed to vent- politely and backed up with facts.
