  •  I was going to write Sen. Feinstein a constituent (4+ / 0-)

letter today to demand her resignation.  This earns her the barest reprieve, for now.

The wholesale failure of the political class is still sinking in.

The elevation of appearance over substance, of celebrity over character, of short term gains over lasting achievement displays a poverty of ambition. It distracts you from what's truly important. - Barack Obama

    •  No, it really tells you this is just a charade (0+ / 0-)

If she's for it either it's destined to go no where or it will do nothing.

    •  Demand She Change Position (0+ / 0-)

She will of course ignore a call to resign. No matter how many demand it - short of 5% of the turnout in her last reelection, which is far more than will demand it.

But demanding she change position can have some effect, if enough people demand the same thing - far fewer than even 1% of that last election turnout.

Look for a campaign targeting her, and send your letter through them. Then get more people to do so with you. Try the EFF - they're sure to get something practical going.

    •  Write it! And tell her in no uncertain terms (0+ / 0-)

that her fucking bank account does not trump the freedoms of Americans, no matter what our technology allows.
