I'd urge you to curb your enthusiasm.

Consider: Google takes the position that the number and scope of the NSA requests have been few and limited, so, please, Mr. Government, let us publish the info to reassure our users.

The feds predictably deny the request, but Google has managed to convince everyone that the data tapping must have been innocuous - after all, why would they request transparency if it wasn't?

WTFWJD? LOTE? I sincerely doubt that.

        contradicts Google.

The elevation of appearance over substance, of celebrity over character, of short term gains over lasting achievement displays a poverty of ambition. It distracts you from what's truly important. - Barack Obama

The letters and requests are one thing. That's generic Patriot Act stuff. PRISM is very different. There are no security letters or requests or judges. The NSA has direct access to ALL of the Internet traffic. They're intercepting data before it even gets to Google or Facebook servers. I guarantee it.

+++ The law is a weapon used to bludgeon us peasants into submission. It is not to be applied to the monied elite.
