Snowden said that according to unverified documents seen by the Post, the NSA had been hacking computers in Hong Kong and on the mainland since 2009. None of the documents revealed any information about Chinese military systems, he said.

One of the targets in the SAR, according to Snowden, was Chinese University and public officials, businesses and students in the city. The documents also point to hacking activity by the NSA against mainland targets

    •  Yeah, I can't support this at all. (7+ / 0-)

The info on the FISA court order and on PRISM were both a public service for Americans in my opinion.  Leaking information on what NSA does to spy on foreigners is not.

rule of thumb.  The details you blockquoted and others in the article make it sound credible but it could be nothing more than a fishing expedition.

I just find it interesting that the interview is mentioned in the US press today, minus the part about how the NSA gathers intelligence by hacking China.

There is no existence without doubt.
