    If it's somebody else, they're in favor of it.  If it's them, they're not.

    Except, of course, for the partisans, who are for whatever their leaders are for.

      They don't want people who are just going about living their lives to be snooped on. They do want people with a criminal past or connections to terrorist organizations to be snooped on. I don't agree with the public on this, b/c I trust the government less than your average bear. But to say that they want it done to anyone but them is unfair, IMO.

      there's no need to make the American people out to be worse than they are. As usual, on just about everything, they are far and above more moral than our "leaders" both in politics and in the world of business and finance. Mostly because they do just want to live their lives.
