    called Corporatism. It's an apocryphal quote and the corporatism of the time was not what we talk about when we say corporatism. It was a political philosophy that came from the history of such thought as Leviathan. A political philosophy that was about what group you belonged to more than who you were as an individual. It has nothing to do with corporations.

    If debt were a moral issue then, lacking morals, corporations could never be in debt.

      There is a whiff of Fascism emanating from the Obama White House....
      Government control over businesses is... Fascism, or more precisely, Mussolini-style corporatism. As Mussolini said, "Fascism should more appropriately be called corporatism because it is a merger of state and corporate power."
      And if that isn't enough to convince you it's bullshit, I don't know what is.
