A Yottabyte is 280bytes.  15-20 years ago hardware manufacturers decided to change the definition of the prefixes in order to make their hard drives seem bigger.  Somehow they managed some people to go along with their lie.  But don't cooperate.  Keep the faith.  A byte is 23 bits so why would we shift to factors of 10 for the others?
