    ... that you're gossiping. I guess that falls into your "caused a world-wide conversation." But perhaps the conversation can be more enlightened. For example, when you write "[t]hat's not the way this country was created," do you actually believe either of these propositions:

    (1) Our Founding Fathers, including General George Washington, didn't keep any State or military secrets.

    (2) Technology has not changed since 1776.

      Troop movements, names of undercover spies, passwords and cipher keys, that was it.  Except for passwords and cipher keys these also had short lifespans.

      Changes in technology don't really change that.  Those are the only things which should be kept secret.  Everything else which is kept secret is kept secret either for stupid reasons, or more commonly, to cover up crimes.
