    After I sent that last post I started to wonder if I had asked too much and that you would not want to "out" yourself too much as to employment.

    That recent study on the death camps was remarkable to read about. I know that most people think only of Auschwitz and a few others when they think of death camps, but it just stands to reason that almost every work camp was, to some regard, a "death camp" simply by the working conditions, lack of food, and guard cruelty found at them.

    I just read a fascinating biography of Leopold Engleitner, who was imprisoned in several camps from the middle 1930s because of being a Jehova's Witness. I had never really read much of the persecution of that particular group until now. Engleitner died in April, and I gather was considered to have been the oldest survivor of any concentration camp.
