    That's what everyone thought the FISA court was issuing.

    We now know that the FISA court orders are "general warrants", 4th amendment violations.

      This made the leap from specific individuals / organizations to everyone rapidly.  Truly, does the military (NSA) regard every american citizen as a threat?  Perhaps, this is the sad yet predictable consequence of a "global war on terror" mind set that views the entire world (including the USA) as a "battle field".

      As an aside, doesn't using the military in this fashion constitute a violation of the Posse Comitatus Act? To many, that seems like an anachronism but I think it's sound policy in the "democracy" to prohibit the military from operating directly against American citizens at home.
