  •  Moan-day (15+ / 0-)

And that moan is from my poor old body aching and creaking.

Cheers that I've started doing more running. Okay, it's more like a 5 mph jog. But that's a big deal for me! I've always said (and thought) I had rotten knees and ankles for running. And I still might. It's only been a few weeks of pushing my treatmill walking to include bursts of jog/run to doing the 5K setting and doing at least 4K of it at a jog/run. I sorta understand the "runner's high" thing, I think.

Cheers that it is 7 weeks to Vegas, baby!! Me, Mr. M and my BFF will be meeting in Vegas for 4 days and 3 nights of wild debauchery, drinking, gambling, dancing, and probably wearing too much make up (tho probably not Mr. M on that last part unless we get him REALLY drunk). I've warned Mr. M of what he could be in for. Basically it's going to be like babysitting two drunk 10-yr olds.

Cheers to whatever they did to fix the foundation leaks on the townhouse seems to be working. After some downpours this weekend the garage and utility rooms are dry!

Cheers that it is less than two weeks till my return to the Dauphine and the Grogs' hospitality for a family meet up. I have been dreaming about breakfast for a few weeks now. Nothing beats those eggs fresh from the feathered ladies in the pen.

Cheers to the pets doing well. Cheers to Mr. M. being wonderful. Cheers that summer has been not too horrible yet. Cheers to coffee in the morning and visiting with my DKoss friends.

      me laughing with this:

My Beloved had similar experiences with me and a few of my bestest buds.  He put up with some really outrageous silliness, inlcuding but not limited to walking home from an event, singing songs from classic 3 in the ay em.  He was the soul of patience, that one.  :-D

We cannot call ourselves a civilised society if we refuse to protect the weakest among us.
