    i have hunch that the suicide rate for America's most educated people is creeping up, not an epidemic, but I'm guessing it would be unmistakable.

      in the tech press you hear story after story of well educated programmers. 30+ years experience. Good at their jobs. Wonderful work history. But they can't find a job. Either the jobs are outsourced, they want to hire somebody that is 25, or given to somebody with a H-2 visa. I mean easy to understand if you hop on some of the international sites were you can outsource jobs and you see folks willing to do work I'd charge thousands for and they'll do it for pennies on a dollar.

        Of course the GOP would argue that people are just killing themselves out of laziness, but that wouldn't fly.
