Which is why they got nothin' -- all the Jack Kemp-market-based solutions can't be used by them, so they're stuck with the caveman stuff.

Yeah, it's too far right, but I'm not that worried.

The first president of the conservative wave -- Nixon -- was pretty damn liberal.

So, the first president of the Dem wave -- Obama -- was bound to be the most conservative of the bunch.

And as for these so called "middle way" parties, just how are they supposed to work?  I guess you would have to deny global warming on Tuesdays and Thursdays, and give women trans-vaginal ultrasound probes on Mondays and Fridays.  That leaves Wednesdays for rounding up the "illegals." Too much to keep track of!

"I wonder why Congress again in a new poll out today--11% approval rating. (It's) because they don't work for us. They work for the sons-of-bitches who pay them." Cenk Uygur

I just hope we have a second President of the liberal wave.

The problem is that the conservative policies are awful, whether implemented by Nixon or Obama.  In the case of Nixon, the reaction led to Carter.  In the case of Obama, I have no idea what the reaction will be, but it will probably suck bigtime.
