I'm sorry you were banned from dkos.  If I had my way, you would be allowed to express your political thoughts without harrassment.  But I do not own this website, and if I want to participate here, I have to put up with someone else's rules.

If sounds to me like you might have an unhealthy relationship with the Internet.  No one is forcing you to put up with bad opinions or rules here at dkos; there are a couple of million other websites you could use to avoid whatever you find here that you don't like.  But upon finding out that this website doesn't work the way you think it should, instead of trying out some of those many easily available options, you decide you want to cyber-stalk this site, using this site in stealth mode, and still having to put up with all the stuff you don't like about this place.  And still complaining about it.

Dude, you could take the easy route and change your behaviors.  But instead, you decide you want to change dkos rules: a much heaver lift.  Small wonder you are dissatisfied.

I suggest you try some activities that do not involve the internet.  Maybe see if you can find some local groups doing useful work in your area (local volunteer firefighters can be a good place to start for some).  Be forewarned: such groups also have rules for participating.

As for the democratic party, I understood some number of years ago that the democratic party and too many of their candidates did not represent my politic interests.  Rather than do the impossible and try and change the democrati partyy, I left the party.  I now spend my political capital elsewhere.

    •  Yeah I think I'll take a hiatus (0+ / 0-)

before setting up my next zombie account. In a way, exposing my zombie is liberating. I no longer have to keep it seperate from my real identity, always thinking "Did I reveal too much?"

Some would say that I'm off my gourd. I would say that I am a gourd.

      •  "Sir...step away from the internet" (6+ / 0-)

You know it's time to take a break when you find yourself complaining on your Facebook page about all the awful stuff on Twitter, and bitching on dkos about the problems you are having with someone at ebay.

When the internet pisses me off to the extent that I want to complain about it on the internet, that's a sign to me that I need to turn off the computer.
