    I think the American people, especially those who have not had insurance, are going to be truly shocked at what it will cost to buy insurance even with subsidies.  Then they will find out that the monthly premium is only the very first payment.

    Introducing America to deductibles, co-pays, co insurance and all the curve balls of for-profit healthcare is going to be a huge hurdle for the ACA to overcome.

      A) Confusing given the deductibles in the bronze, silver, gold and platinum plans.

      B) It perpetuates inequality of healthcare

      C) It will be complicated to administer.

      They will have to do a lot of educating the public and providers.

        I attend  insurance agent trainings for CE credits. I heard one guy, who is an industry authority on the ACA, say at the conclusion of a 2-hour training that there seem to be two forks in the road in the future, either single payer or dismantle the ACA and go back to incremental changes. I think it will be single payer but there will be a lot of financial pain to get there.
