  •  i came from bethlehem pa (4.00)
with my buddy who lives in kutztown.

Bellows Falls is really getting revitalized, mostly through the efforts of Charlie Hunter, who runs the festival, they have some neat stores and the Vermont Pretzel company is fantastic! Not to mention Burdick's chocolates across the river in Walpole and Grafton Cheese in Grafton. And Green Mtn. Gringo.  No wonder everyone looked a little plump up there.

Most of the folks there came from all over the country, and there were alot of Canadians because several of the acts were Canadian.  I forgot to mention Lynn Miles, who was there and was fantastic as well. Oh, and Chip Taylor and Carrie Roderriguez.
Here's a trivia question for you:  What famous 60s tune did Chip Taylor pen?  Hint:  Tim Robbins' nickname in a famous baseball movie.

Green Mtn Gringo - yummy.  I got hooked on their salsas working in Dorset VT for a summer.  That's also the summer I discovered Ben & Jerry's factory seconds. Wow! did that have an impact on my waistline!

Bethlehem, huh?  Do you go to the Philly fest or to Falconridge?  Looks like I'll be taking my daughter to Falconridge. Not sure about PFF - I'm about tapped out for vacation time, and I can't stand the thought of actually PAYING for a ticket!

      •  No, I missed those (4.00)
but would like to get to the green river fest as steve earle is playing that one, and the mammals will be there, a young kick-ass group of talented musicians and songwriters.  Is there still a Temple Music Fest? I used to go to that one, saw john prine there, jerry jeff walker, and maybe even jimmy buffet there back in the day.  john prine's new cd is great, he gets a dig in at bush in one of his songs, too.

        •  Temple music fest? (4.00)
Was that the one at Temple U. in Ambler, PA?  If so, it's gone by the wayside, sadly.  But have you been down to the Sellersville Theatre?  They've got some pretty good stuff coming through.

You be around Liederplatz for Musikfest?  My sister-in-law's neighbor is playing in a bluegrass band there.  Not sure of the name, but we'll be in town.

          •  yes, the very same Temple U in Ambler (4.00)
I have been to Sellersville and really enjoy that venue, I saw Fred Eaglesmith there and John Gorka. I've got tickets to see Loudon Wainright, Susan Tedesci, and Keith urban at the musikfest, and my son wants to go see the billy joel tribute band, and i imagine we will catch as many of the acts as humanly possible.  User HilaryK of dkos husband plays for a local band, i can't remember their name at the moment.
