  •  A 'Welfare State', but for whom? (0+ / 0-)

To my eyes, the 'diversion' ongoing to distract from the arguable evolution of Sweden into a 'corporate welfare state' (ie, Sweden's Corporate tax rate is now 22%, the US's is 35%) has been scapegoating and the debate over it.  Some might argue that while immigrants are bashed and the far-right argued about, nobody is blaming the folks doing the ongoing societal restructuring here, a restructuring that does appear to have negatively impacted many.

As for more on what's ongoing, may I strongly suggest you use the article's link to "‘Living as a 'Sub-Human' in Sweden’, CounterPunch", give it a's long, detailed, and I'm repeatedly told a 'great read'.
