      the gun nuts aren't really supposed to know they're being spied on.

    •  If you're ruling out gun registration (0+ / 0-)

      with rhetoric about the government not to be trusted with "private" information, then you might want to think it over.  

      I don't think that anyone who suggests an activist government, whether it's in gun control, health care, regulation of pollution, safe food or whatever, can support those programs consistent with the assertion that the government can't be trusted like big ass corporation Verizon.
