    What you are seeing on teevee is correctly termed..."programming".

      There are upset protestors acting for a variety of reasons.  As always, they themselves are not clear on the end goal.

      The picture the diarist presents is not true.  We are in fact not on the cusp of world revolution.

      Brazil and Latin America have seen many, many, many waves of protests in the past and will in the future.  It is a familiar part of political life.

      If you'd like to make a wager that this protest action is in fact the spark for global revolution, I'm happy to wager the opposite.  I guarantee you will be disappointed with the outcome.
