    is clean(insofar as we define "clean" in modern American politics) because, had there been any dirt on him, it would've been dredged up by by the Clinton, McCain or Romney campaigns.

    What's upsetting and noteworthy about this story is the potential for abuse. And the inevitable questions it raises about targeting and other malfeasance.

      been targets of this abuse in some form or another.

      That he went alone with it, and later found to be a victim of it, seems rather poetic.

      It's hard to take the high moral ground when you are standing waste deep in the poop.

      I don't care about his sex life, or any of the other bullshit distractions we use to undermine various politicians. What I care about is--Does he represent all of us, and is he on our side.

      No--to both questions.

      He is too cozy with big corporations and he has ignored his own education with regards to both the laws of this land and the nature of our national character.
