    As do hundreds of local learn-to-sail programs.
    Kids are like ducks when it comes to sailing.  The Northwest has so much going for it as a sailing climate, except for the temperatures (bet you don't have to worry about hypothermia in Lahaina!).  So, you dress sensibly, put on a few more layers after that, and walk away from the video games for a few hours a week!

      Our biggest issue is waterproof sunscreen.  We see 11+ UV Index days all the time.
