  •  Side effect profiles, I guess (0+ / 0-)

Both of these stories illustrate, I suppose, how idiopathic side effect profiles can be. I was on 300 bid, and I noticed no effects at all. On the other hand, I notice effects from all the anti-depressants -- serious side effects. Similarly, morphine does nothing but make me sleep, but other people get giggly and cosmic.

At 1200 mg a day, you're in serious dosages -- in the epileptic range. (Also, Neurontin isn't really indicated for bipolar. I.e. it was never supposed to be very effective for it in the first place.)

I just found it a lot less toxic than, for example, Lyrica. Lyrica is an example of the drugs that were formerly reserved for patients who were suicidal or homicidal, and now they ("Abilify" is a real turkey in this regard, and "Pristiq" may be the most evil of them all) are for general conditions? hGH is for normal conditions, too, if the marketeers have their way.

    Everyone's innocent of some crime.
