  •  Every American has the right to own a muzzle (12+ / 0-)

loading rifle as long as they show up on the village green at the designated time for muster and drill.

That is what the second amendment says. The Extreme Court has expanded its definition beyond anything the writers of it could have foreseen.

Reaganomics noun pl: belief that government is bad, that it can increase revenue by decreasing revenue, and unregulated capitalism can provide unlimited goods for unlimited people on a planet with finite resources.

    •  It's the same bifurcation hocus pocus the Court (5+ / 0-)

has been doing with the 4th Amendment for decades -- separating the part about "unreasonable searches and seizures" from the warrant requirements, when that pesky "and" that links the two clearly means to say that reasonable searches and seizures are done by way of a warrant meeting particular requirements.

In other words, rather than reading the amendments' language as a whole, they chop it up to reach their predetermined result.

Is it courageous to propose tax cuts but not identify a single tax expenditure to rein in? Is it courageous to target your deepest cuts on the poorest Americans, who vote in lower numbers and provide little in campaign contributions?

No recs for Extreme (vs. Supreme) Court?

Ya'll know Alito, Thomas and Scalia go to Koch Bros. fund-raisers right?

Cheney's hunting trips with Scalia? Everybody here knows about that right?

Who doesn't know, or want to talk about it? COMA (Corporate Owned Media Amalgam).
