    All religions have multiple points and purposes, from the spiritual to social to practical to metaphysical to theological to political.

    Although, I would argue that at this point, it's to enable annoying ads, sales and saccharine music and the generation of trillions in profits.

      religions is who people choose to listen to:  Moses, Jesus, or Muhammad.

      Christians choose Jesus, PRIMARILY because of the resurrection/died for our sins story.

        The idea that religion, any religion or religion in general, serves only one purpose and has only one meaning and origin, is beyond silly.
