View Diary: Look, I like Troubadour. But we're different writers. With very different views on most everything. (201 comments)

announced by Kos. Do you have a link?

I have a lifetime subscription attached to my account here,  I would assume that would still be valid?

he announced changes verbally. I will not go into it before asking if he is OK making the news more public at this time.

But yes, subscriptions attached to accounts here would still be valid.

Perhaps I'll open one up just to hold it, and see what happens.

you are both very prolific and popular writers.  Not taking anything away from "Troubadour" but I tend to agree with you a little more often then he but I like both of you.

Is their anyway that Kos (and the powers that be within the virtual Kos world) could make an exception to the rules and allow you to change your name in the system (sort of like find and replace) to allow you to keep your history under new name and allow of us who follow you to keep you on our list?

If you cannot keep your history and at least your UID #, then do not change your name.  Maybe go back to your old signature line stating that the article makes all the difference.

No matter what you decide, the people who enjoy your writing will follow and it will not take long to re-gain your current status because your writing speaks for itself.
