    The Schikaneder bio was a luck find at the book swap shelf of an artsy-type place, which is where I think I'll leave the Homer in fair exchange.  Humphry Clinker was from an estate sale (....).  Reading the latter piecemeal isn't the smartest way to go about it, admittedly.
