      I'm certainly not going to do it. Heck, I never forgave him for  trashing the Corvair.

      But, seriously, why so much anger at Nader?

      No candidate owns the votes.  Any votes Nader got were votes Gore was unable to win.  That's on Gore, not Nader.

          Gore ran a terrible campaign and performed badly in the debates.

          He didn't even carry his home state. Had he done that, Florida would never have mattered.

          He ran very well in New York and California, but lost the popular vote pretty solidly in the rest of the country: 49.2 - 46.4.

          If he hasn't alienated the base with his stupid triangulation Gore would have been able to distinguish himself and nail down the election.
