    ...which is the point where political fiscal/economic thought between New/Corporate Dems and Moderate/Liberal Republicans converge, which is really quite spot-on, even though it doesn't sound very nice.

    The fact is, whether people will acknowledge it or not the, most New Democrats (and many Republicans, too) endorse and embrace what Princeton University Political Science Professor Emeritus Sheldon Wolin has referred to as INVERTED TOTALITARIANISM, which he also references by the term, "Managed Democracy", IMHO.
