    plus attempts in more. Government-issued ID requirement notices even where no ID is required. Demonstrably unequal distribution of voting machines vis-a-vis population.  

    I'm sorry Shelby County got its widdle fee fees hurt because its history of voter suppression brought a mandate of preclearance for new voting requirements. Must be tough laboring under that yoke of suspicion and prejudice, huh?

    But they did have a point: this can happen everywhere, and it's happening in too many places.

    And today, in trying to say "some of my best friend provisions are black," the Supremes reaffirmed the federal power to require local voting laws be cleared by the Justice Dept. to make sure they don't suppress votes.

    So, yeah, let's get it on. Talk about a 50-state strategy. Let's make sure people in all 50 states get to vote.
