    The first gentleman you see, referred to as Captain Brown, is Avro's Chief Test Pilot who test flew more than 1200 aircraft in his career!

    The Tudor and Brabazon mentioned were both disastrous flops. The last shots of the Dan-Air York are at Duxford, when they pushed the aircraft out to be photographed alongside a Lancaster.

    In cockpit terms the MAIN difference is that the throttle and propeller controls are 'pendent mounted' in the roof of the York cockpit (always tiring, I thought), whereas they are on the central pedestal in the Lancaster.
