  •  Exactly! Reminds me of an older couple I met (4+ / 0-)

    here in FL while waiting for an auto repair. I wanted to get their opinion on the pres race last fall given the efforts to limit voting hours etc. here, and these African Americans were sure Obama was going to win FL. It was as if they knew a secret, and it was that blacks were not going to be intimidated into not voting, no matter how long they had to wait. They would not stay home!
    They were just positive Obama would win, determined! And that will happen when the GOP seeks to role back racial justice in voter suppression laws.

    For some reason the GOP and its spokesmen on the Supreme Court seem to think that racial minorities will be passive in the face of such an affront to their dignity. That didn't happen in 2012, despite the best efforts of Republican state legislatures. People deliberately made sacrifices of their time and energy to vote.
