  •  Plenty of hateful folks to go around. (0+ / 0-)

Last I looked, people were Constitutionally entitled to practice their religion and to express their religious and other views.

I didn't see anything in that tweet threatening action against anybody, or even suggesting it.

So -- why all the anti-freedom sentiment here?

It is one curious failing of Democrats -- an inexplicable hatred for first amendment freedoms and diversity of views.

And then these conservative business owners scream bloody murder about how terribly they're treated when the holy free market opts to boycott them, or they lose their lucrative endorsement deals.

Mr Cathy, Mr. Limbaugh, Ms Deen and the others are free to say whatever they want. But they are not magically free from the consequences that follow their actions.

That whole victim act gets extremely tiresome, especially from those on the right who are allegedly so big on "personal responsibility."

In any event, the first amendment makes it perfectly legal to discuss things that we find newsworthy. Tweets like this are newsworthy because there is an ongoing boycott of this business by progressives.  So your opinion is noted but not incredibly relevant because you failed grasp the context.

      But thanks for dropping by.

So if you get hit by a bus tonight, would you be satisfied with how you spent today, your last day on earth? Live like tomorrow is never guaranteed, because it's not. -- Me.

      •  It is entirely appropriate to disagree and to take (0+ / 0-)

your business elsewhere. You can call them names if you'd like.

        That's all free speech.

        Don't open franchises here?

        Fuck that.
        Nobody's business but their own.
If nobody buys, they'll lose money.
