    If everyone who's ever used the N word, in whatever context, is to be excluded, shunned, whatever, that'd be about everyone.

    But we're on a roll here, dog piling on Deen. Another one of our periodic feeding frenzys.

    This very diary uses the damned N word. So if asked the author has to say Yes, I used it. No context or explanation why will suffice.

    It's ridiculous. I was taught against it as a kid, but it was part of Eeney meeny miney mo back then and common. Our biggest shock was when we had 2 black foster kids in the 60s and one of them called the other the N word.

    Deen is a victim of her background and should be forgiven, with apologies.
