And I'm adding that I cannot find a real legitimate reason why the Point Pleasant Mayor would reasonably back Christie for re-election.  It's not as if Barbara Buono would be irresponsible and avoid continuing the outreach efforts to rebuild NJ.

God, it's like the "You don't replace the Governor in a time of rebuilding" is taking over much in the same way the "You don't replace the President in a time of war" argument was being pushed during President Bush's re-election campaign.

anyone recovering from the storm. On the contrary, I think she would be far better in that regard than Christie. What I mean is, if Christie wins, he seems like the type to punish people who didn't back him.

Where are all the jobs, Boehner?

      •  Well, Christie punishing GOP is fine with me (0+ / 0-)

In that respect, I do actually believe Chris Christie has a conscience because the GOP across the board in NJ and nationally are filled with idiots who just want power and nothing else.  More punishment and marginalization of these GOP bozos, the better.

On the other hand, Christie isn't necessarily going to be independent of anyone in the GOP.  He just doesn't like to be pushed around.
