    Stored data generally means its been written onto some long term storage device be it a hard drive or flash memory.  In other words, not RAM.

    Sure, data is stored for a fraction of a second before it is retransmitted but that is fundamentally different from storing data for years.

      matter what the method of storage is nor the length it is stored. Those are separate issues.

      We again come back to: "It depends on what the meaning of the word is is."

      . . . to have storage capabilities in terms of Exabytes and Zettabytes.

      That's an awesome amount of storage.

      Plus, you can expect that the NSA will "zip" the data so that it archives smaller.
