    and have stated many times that the Dems don't have 50 votes for substantive filibuster reform and if the GOP wins control of the Senate in 2014 they won't have 51 votes either.  There are just too many GOP conservative, old school club members, who will never vote to abandon the filibuster.

      to getting rid of the judicial filibuster.

      Only 3 GOP members of the Gang of 14 are left. Collins, McCain and Graham, and McCain might retire in 2016.

      I do think GOP would need 55+ seats in the Senate to get rid of the filibuster and it's hard to see that happening in the next couple of election cycles, at least right now.

        There are at least five and maybe more GOP senators who wouldn't vote for filibuster reform. It will be difficult for the GOP to even win a slim majority in 2014 or 2016.
