    parliament was lower than expected was it not? And many other parties had trouble organizing to put good candidates on the ballot or to organize real campaigns.

    Elections do have consequences, but democracy also has rules and limits to majority authority; especially in the U.S. And again, the entire mess around the new Constitution is simply unacceptable; it is unacceptable to approach that issue as Morsi has, and it is that that has invoked the furor of many Coptic and secular leaders even prior to these protests.

    I don't want the military to step in, but I want Morsi severely cowed and for him to stop overreaching. I expect more moderate political groups will be better organized and better prepared to wage a campaign in the next elections.
