    I love the way they flip it around and try to claim the high ground:  

    ... he is denying dignity to the millions of Americans who, for moral or religious reasons, believe that gay marriage is wrong.
    THEY'RE the ones being denied dignity.  Ri-i-ight.

    Here is something I wish would get stated more often in the public sphere:  

    If you want to hold the religious belief that homosexuality is wrong, that abortion is wrong, that contraception is wrong, you are of course free to do that.  Our constitution says so.  

    But -- also according to our constitution -- you are NOT allowed to force your private religious beliefs into public policy.  And yet, you keep trying to do exactly that.  This seems to indicate a basic lack of respect for our constitution.  This strikes me as being a bit strange, coming from people who profess to be patriots.
