    burdens imposed by unwanted or unplanned pregnancies with the advent of easily available birth control methods.  The actual battle isn't abortion, it's the freedom women gain when their bodies are under female management.  52% of the population leaves the labor force if we return to the fifties, because pregnancy was the excuse for underpaying and underemploying women in 1968 when I tried to get a professional position with an insurance company.  File clerk or secretary, yes.  Underwriter or analyst, no.

    I'm not looking for a love that will lift me up and carry me away. A love that will stroll alongside and make a few amusing comments will suffice.

      when she started showing with any of the 3 of her unwanted pre-Roe pregnancies that resulted in live births. Perfectly legal, too. Poor and resentful -- wheeee, happy family time!
