My local computer geek shop (complete with the boys' two juvenile kittens-with-attitude (KWA), ahem) added Firefox and Feedly RSS reader to my W7/IE9 laptop, and I've been ever so happy in the months since. Both free, BTW.

Feedly has surpassed Google for me, and the Feedly folks have been polite and gentile, not to mention communicative and up-front,  in dealing with their users.  I think we all have our own special feelings about Google, so I'll leave that alone for now.

Can no longer afford grooming for my hirsute Maine Coon Kokopelli, so I've just taken a pair of small scissors to his more stubborn knots.  He looks funny, yes, but he's cool and happy, and there are fewer hair-based smelly life-forms on my carpet.  Plus he's dropped a few ounces since Reina passed on, since he often raided her leftovers in her latter days.  Handsome fellow, Koko!  But I still sleep with the basement cat, Milo.  Cooler down there.

Would love to post pictures, but that would mean turning the lights on, which is also spending money better kept for cat litter.

Day 2 of Gettysburg.  Ewell regrets his earlier slowness, Sickles takes his troops a few yards too far, and Chamberlain's Mainers hold Little Big Top.  Lee still thinks it's possible, and at this point, it may indeed have been.

Black armbands for the War that no one seems to forget, and for the AZ HotShots we lost.
