    own heads, and see the world from another perspective, 180 degrees out.

    Just as a mental exercise. I think that a lot of minds would change or even be accidentally jarred open if only for a moment.

      Here are some lines from Burns' poem "To a Louse." It comes close to your thoughts above--especially the first two lines.
