  •  I'm sorry you think this is about (12+ / 0-)

    15 minutes of fame.

And of course, polling will get to the bottom of how America really feels about this. As long as it's a Good Poll!

You still get to pretend you're the only one with a grasp of word usage, and that I "attacked" you. There's an adjective for that, too, and "cool" isn't it...

And you did use the words (a good one), referencing this Desirable Poll you would like to see--to tell you how everyone else is thinking. So, perhaps you could enlighten us on exactly what a Good Poll is?

Snowden will take up permanent residence in the history books. That is already assured.

      •  Most Americans only know (11+ / 0-)

what they are able to gather from American mainstream media which has shown itself in the past of doing a piss poor job of actually informing people.  Iraq immediately comes to mind.

This is serious stuff and one person had the courage to take real documents that expose it for us. Others tried to warn us in the past and went through channels only to be accused of treason.  Smearing the messenger is the easy way out when the message makes some of us uncomfortable.  So whatever you want to call Mr. Snowden is your perogative, but you should be grateful for his letting us know just how little Constitutional freedoms we have left in this country.

Now if the American mainstream media would actually do its job instead of being the mouthpiece for the govt, people would actually understand just how dangerous our surveillance/security state is.
