Obama fought hard to get Obamacare approved.  DC is dysfunctional.

What I wish is that people in the Democratic party understand that Obamacare is a step on the right direction but that much more can be accomplished at the state level.

The big thing now is to inform new possible enrollees about Obamacare.  I find this use of grassroots time to be unjustified.  The grassroots should be pushing for the next steps toward Single Payer (Improved Medicare for All including dental work).

I guess if Obamacare is show to benefit some people it proves that government works and it should not be drowned in the bathtub.

health care reform offered teeth cleanings. But, yeah, I get your point. :-)

I think part of this fight from Republicans is to stop it from advancing, to stop the further necessary reforms before they can even begin to take shape. Which is why I don't entirely agree with you that the grassroots efforts on educating about Obamacare should be spent on single payer, instead. At this point, we really need Obamacare to be a success to get to the next steps.

      •  I have heard ads on the radio about two (0+ / 0-)

different new Medicaid health insurance products (one was United HealthCare, the other something with Buckeye in the name) that offer both dental and vision coverage.  Does anyone know what is going on with them?  This was in Cincinnati, so is it an OH plan of some kind?  So far the extremely gerrymandered GOP legislature has blocked the expansion, but behind the scenes arm twisting is still going on.
