    but Tastee cakes NOT better than old school Hostess, as far as junk food goes.  If you did enjoy Twinkies, other versions pale in comparison.

      Tastykakes.

      I remember REAL tastykakes. Delivered fresh every day, and they weren't allowed to sit around because the delivery driver took back any that hadn't sold. You couldn't get them outside the Philly area, because they wouldn't keep well enough to ship that far.

      They were GOOD. What they have now is a pale imitation. Might as well buy any generic brand.

      Same with Entemanns. They used to be really good too, now they're just the same sweet crap everybody else makes.

      Pity.

      All they do is use about twice as much sugar as Dunkin', Horton's or whatever. Can't taste a damn thing but the sugar.

        finish the rest and thru it away.  KK's donuts taste like the recipe is add a little dough to the sugar.  Yuck.
