Obama style president whose only achievement as a progressive was to nominate a liberal or 2 SC Justice?  Considering the continuing damage being done to our economy (and the job prospects of millions of millenials) by the stand off between neoliberals and paleocons, would a more liberal court REALLY make that much difference?  Because I think the price tag is too high.  We cannot trade a progressive government for a slightly more liberal court.  If we had a more progressive government creating more progressive laws, it wouldn't matter so much how conservative the court is because a) the court can only rule on cases brought and it generally takes pretty long to get cases to the court and b) a progressive government is more likely to nominate and PASS way more progressive justices.
Don't get caught in the trap of thinking it has to be HRC or whatever nut ball the Republicans choose, there's another choice RIGHT NOW, Sherrod Brown and a more progressive congress.  Instead of fighting uphill to get a moderate Dem elected against a disappointed, disillusioned liberal base, we can get that disappointment, and the disgust at these Republicans to work FOR us !  Remember, primaries are for voting for the progressive you agree with, general elections are for voting against Republicans!
The wave is coming, brother!  Get on board or drown!
