    If there is a constitutional convention, we don't know what amendments will come out of it, and there is the potential that it will do more harm than good.  Examples I can think of are a constitutional amendment banning abortion, repealing the requirement for warrants to conduct searches (based on war on terror), and a stronger wording of the 2nd amendment.

    While I don't like Citizens United, and think that it should be overturned, we may have an even worse outcome from a Constitutional Convention (could be a proposal to constitutionally make corporations citizens).

    I think that the best course of action would be to appointment supreme court judges who are less corporate minded (the court has been known to reverse itself on occasion) and/or elect a more democratic congress.
