  •  Opinion shows on MSNBC were important (5+ / 0-)

during the GWB Admin right into the '08 election. I think Keith and a few others gave us a voice that we didn't have.

For me, when Pelosi became Speaker and we had Obama in the White House, I thought it was the moment to build on that momentum to get a much more progressive Congress. But it crashed - for many different reasons. A perfect storm.

The opinion shows have in a way run their course for me on MSNBC.  Not many of us democrats appreciate or like being fed a constant helping of Obama doomed us. Corporate media, republicans and sell out democrats doomed this country.

For democrats it's a constant struggle to find the right democrat for the next election. We try to choose wisely for what we feel is in the best interest of our city, state and nationally.

I like Lawrence and I hear Bashir is very smart. Chris Hayes is unwatchable. So isn't Scarborough, Andrea Mitchell and Chuck Todd. Luke Russert? Are they freakin' kidding?

I miss Ed a lot. He has personality and he had so many blue collars workers on his program constantly which was like a breath of fresh air.

I didn't see it but I read that Chuck Todd whined the whole time the president was in Africa. The guy hasn't a curious bone in his body. And he's their political director or some other role of importance.

First and foremost on my mind now is immigration & new voting rights act.

Here's hoping for real success. These are tailor made fights for the Democratic Party.
